Artist Talk: Salifou Lindou

Dance Africa 2024, Brooklyn Academy of Music (New York)

As a BAM DanceAfrica 2024 Art Partner, and in celebration of that year’s spotlight on Cameroon’s cultural contributions, the Museum of Contemporary African Diasporan Arts (MoCADA), presented an artist talk with Douala-based artist Salifou Lindou in conversation with journalist and curator Marie-Ange Zibi. Together, they discussed Lindou’s work, the contemporary art scene on the continent and in Cameroon in particular, and the themes at the heart of La Course, 2, the mixed-media artwork commissioned and curated by MoCADA as part of the Brooklyn Academy of Music’s festivities.
